Ag Safety Chain
Peerless Ag-Safety chains meet the requirements of ANSI/ASAE Standard S338.5. All chains come with latch-type grab hooks, which ensure that the chain will not separate from the towing vehicle. A permanent ID tag states the gross vehicle pounds for which the chain is intended. Material: Low Carbon and Alloy Steel. Finishes: Zinc. Packaging: Drums
Trailer Safety Cables
Galvanized cables are vinyl coated and self coiling to be used to keep a trailer attached to the vehicle if the hitch fails or comes uncoupled. Hitch cables exceed J684 standards. Material: Galvanized Cable, Vinyl coated. Finishes: Zinc. Packaging: Drums.
Trailer Safety Chain
Trailer Safety chains, properly applied to the towing vehicle, provide two crossed chains. The chains will keep the trailer attached if the hitch fails or comes uncoupled. Use of chains is covered under SAE standard J684. Material: Low Carbon Steel. Finishes: Zinc. Packaging: Drums. Class 1 - All Types of trailers with a trailer Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) (trailer pounds including it’s load) not to exceed 910 kg (2000 lbs). Two chains must be used per trailer.
