All-Lifts is extremely proud to be involved in this project, not only from an engineering perspective but also fabricating and testing the 120 ton spreader bar as well as manufacturing all of the slings.
The Herrenknecht AVN2200B Microtunnel Boring Machine (MTBM) was successfully lifted and docked at the Gilboa Dam project site in upstate New York. This is one of the largest MTBM project installations with wet retrieval ever accomplished in the United States. The MTBM is also the first of its kind, manufactured by Herrenknecht with explosion-proof electrical components and tunnel support accessories designed to mine in a “gassy” environment.
